Cheddar N’ Bacon Jalapeño Poppers

  • Makes 5 servings
  • 2 poppers per serving

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces of plain cream cheese, softened
  • 5 whole Jalapeño peppers
  • 3 tablespoons of Bacon Bits

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Cut peppers in half and gently scoop out seeds. (If you remove the thin clear membrane along the inside of the pepper it will lose it’s heat).
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, 4 oz of cheddar cheese and bacon together
  4. Stuff the peppers with the mixture
  5. Top the poppers with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese browns.
